In my daily job as a NASA/JPL Manager for Advanced Robotic Controls I am fortunate to lead a group of world's top researchers and engineers, who develop robotic technologies for future space missions, and among their daily routines control/drive robotic vehicles on the surface of Mars.
During my over 20 years of involvement in research and development I pioneered concepts and demonstrated technologies in Robotics, Secure and Survivable Systems, and Advanced Quality of Life. I have a continuous interest in these areas, in particular in the avant-garde topics, such as Cyborgs, Novel Biometrics, Regenerative Medicine, etc.
As a member of various communities I support the creation of values and the spread of knowledge. I am involved in professional communities in engineering and science, networking groups, charity, and I also support local communities, in the Greater Los Angeles area where I now live, and in Iasi, Romania, my beloved hometown.
As an entrepreneur, I am engaged with technology companies with products and services that enhance quality of life. |
